My Uncle Satoshi is upgrading our gift tracking workflow. In pursuit of digital asset literacy through ownership, the most important step is to educate our members on how to custody their own digital assets.

“Not your keys, not your coins” was an often ignored expression until the fallout of 2023 when many lost their digital assets to the failure of exchanges including FTX, Voyager and BlockFi. Those who self-custodied their own digital assets were unaffected.

If you already have a digital wallet that accepts BTC or ETH, this is the perfect time to check your passcodes and receiving address. If you don’t, we’ll walk you through the process of creating one and provide information about how to add gifts to that wallet.
